Fully Licensed Therapist (LPC)
Description:

Client Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to understand clients' mental health status and identify specific challenges.​

Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing appropriate therapeutic modalities.​
Velvet Jobs -
Therapeutic Intervention: Provide counseling sessions using evidence-based techniques to help clients manage and overcome their issues.​

Crisis Intervention: Offer immediate support during acute mental health crises to ensure client safety and stability.​

Collaboration: Work with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care tailored to each client's needs.​

Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: master's or doctoral degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited institution. ​

Supervised Experience: Complete 3,000 hours of supervised experience under the guidance of an approved LPC supervisor. ​

Examinations: Pass the National Counseling Exam (NCE), the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE), and the Texas Jurisprudence Exam. ​
Texas BHEC -
Licensure: Obtain licensure from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Professional Counselors, adhering to all state regulations and ethical standards.

Licensed Professional Counselor Associate
Description:
-
Client Assessment: Conduct initial evaluations to understand clients' mental health concerns, backgrounds, and therapeutic needs.​

Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based counseling techniques, under the guidance of an LPC-S.​

Therapeutic Intervention: Provide counseling services to individuals, couples, families, or groups, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and other mental health concerns.​

Documentation: Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions, treatment plans, progress notes, and any other pertinent information, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.​

Supervision: Participate in regular supervision sessions with an LPC-S to review cases, receive feedback, and ensure adherence to best practices and ethical guidelines.

Qualifications:

Educational Requirements: Obtain a graduate degree in counseling or a related field from an accredited university or college. This program should include at least 300 hours of supervised practicum experience. ​

Examinations: Pass the National Counseling Exam (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Exam (NCMHCE). Additionally, complete the Texas Jurisprudence Exam, which assesses knowledge of state laws and ethical standards related to counseling practice. ​

Licensure: Apply for and obtain the LPC Associate license from the Texas Behavioral Health Executive Council, allowing for supervised practice in the state.

Clinical Assistant
Description:

​Office Administration:

Answer phone calls​

Greet clients

Schedule appointments

Administer, update, and file intake information for clients and staff

Receive Payments - process payments from clients​

Maintain client documentation

Process prescription requests by verifying with the doctor and/or physician assistant​

Qualifications:
