Individual Counseling

Individual counseling is available to assist the client to better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings and behaviors.   Counseling services are provided in a supportive, caring, and non-judgmental atmosphere to assist individuals in dealing with all of  the challenges that are presented in their everyday and not so everyday life.

Family & Couples Counseling

An unfortunate reality is that  the divorce rate has risen to over 50%. Couples often fall into the traps of guilt, blame, projection and many other toxic emotions that can destroy communication, and ultimately a relationship.  Men and women often handle parenting in very different ways and it is important that couples understand that parenting differently than your spouse is often common.  Family Counseling or Couples Counseling Services can provide the structure and safety zone necessary to re-establish positive relations and  create effective communication strategies within the marriage.   With the time and energy  required to provide all that the child/children need, it is often too easy to ignore your own emotional well being and  that of your adult relationships.  It is important to remember that you cannot build a strong home on a faulty foundation.  Strong adult relationships sustain and re-energize the couple, thus enabling them to make optimal parenting choices while beating the staggering divorce statistics.

Parent Counseling

Individualized counseling for parents focuses on the myriad of issues that deplete the energy of  the parents.  When emotional strength is compromised by a lack of outlets for frustration, anger, sadness, and grief, often physical and emotional health is  compromised.   Counseling services can offer that outlet, and provide an avenue for the increased emotional strength necessary for dealing with the often tumultuous changes happening within the family system.
